Well you found me, Kat Wohlford. Personal Vacation Advisor and Creative. Travel has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I found excitement in the world around me. Traveling had allowed me to further my knowledge and learn about other points of interest, and understanding the power of exploring. My college years gave me that opportunity, even if it was just a weekend to get away, I was able to explore and learn outside the classroom.
Once college was over and career happened, my travel days became a distant memory. I’d save my personal time off – because in America you have to save for time off – for the “just in case” that never happened. Wasted PTO along with it my health. Eventually, friends would come to me to help them with travel planning, I would vicariously travel places with them. The rush alone of helping someone plan their vacation helped me feel like I was on that vacation with them – so to speak.
Eventually, life had other plans for me and my career came to a halt, allowing me to be a creative entrepreneur and stay at home mom. Once my kid started going back to school full time, life gave me the opportunity focus on what I truly loved – traveling. In the 2017, I decided to join Magical Vacation Planner, providing the availability of booking all types of vacations and cruises.
This blog is my way of continuing my efforts of providing my friends top notch planning, tips, and tricks when it came to traveling. This not a serious blog, rather a tool where you can read the latest and laugh at my expense. I enjoy traveling, I am human, and with traveling comes some pretty fun stories.
